How an answer gets published
Each rule page quotes the ordinance, statute or official agency page it rests on, links to it, and shows the date it was last checked. Before a page goes live, every quote on it is fetched again from its source and matched word for word. If a quote cannot be matched, the page is held. When we find that a city's practice differs from its code, the page is corrected to say what the city does now. The full method.

When an answer changes, the page says so, and the change is listed with its date on the corrections page.
