In an Arizona condo, the association maintains, repairs and replaces the common elements and each owner handles their own unit, under A.R.S. §33-1247, owners must give access through their units for that work.

**Boundary:** A.R.S. § 33-1247 ("Upkeep of the condominium"): the association is responsible for maintenance, repair and replacement of the common elements and each unit owner for the unit. On reasonable notice owners must afford access through the unit for those purposes.

**Property owner:** Maintain, repair and replace the unit; afford reasonable access through the unit for maintenance work.

**City / agency:** The association maintains, repairs and replaces the common elements.

**Exceptions:** The declaration can allocate limited-common-element upkeep; Declarant-reserved-element and slum-property provisions exist in the same section
